Obesity hypoventilation syndrome in J apan and independent determinants of arterial carbon dioxide levels

The prevalence of OHS in obese OSA Japanese patients is approximately the same as in Western patients despite a much lower BMI. Moreover, DL CO /V A , reported in this study for the first time, was independently associated with PaCO 2 levels.
