5‐(4‐Chlorophenyl)‐3‐hydroxy‐4‐methylthiazole‐2(3H)‐thione: an instance of bifurcated hydrogen bonding

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C10H8ClNOS2, comprises two unique molecules. Aggregation occurs via intermolecular bifurcated hydrogen bonding between the thiohydroxamate H atom and the thiocarbonyl S atoms of the same and of an adjacent molecule.
