High-Energy Photoproduction of ρ ′ ( 1600 )
We observe a resonance in the diffractively photoproduced two pion final state with a mass of approx. 1600 MeV and a width of approx. 300 MeV. The four pion distribution is characterized by a width of approx. 600 MeV and peaks around 1500 MeV.
