Analysis of d + 6,7,9,11 Li elastic scattering using different densities and calculation procedures

The elastic scattering differential cross-sections of d  +  6,7,9,11 Li systems have been reanalyzed using three different calculation methods and four different density distributions for the deuteron nucleus. The phenomenological optical model and the microscopic optical model incorporating the CDM...

description The elastic scattering differential cross-sections of d  +  6,7,9,11 Li systems have been reanalyzed using three different calculation methods and four different density distributions for the deuteron nucleus. The phenomenological optical model and the microscopic optical model incorporating the CDM3Y6 interaction with and without the inclusion of the rearrangement term have been used as the calculation models. A good agreement between the theoretical results and the experimental data has been achieved. The performed analyses emphasize the weak binding nature of the 11 Li isotope.
