Nonlinear Optical Second Harmonic Generation in Ferroelectric SmC at Noncollinear Geometry

Second harmonic generation in helically twisted SmC* liquid crystal is analysed for oblique light propagation with respect to the helical axis. Numerical results for the harmonic wave close to the Bragg reflection band show strong resonant enhacement of the second harmonic light intensity.
