Untersuchungen der Genetik der Gesamtleistenzahl der Finger bei vielen Bevölkerungen haben gezeigt, daß dieses Merkmal im wesentlichen durch additive Gene determiniert ist. Die phänotypische Varianz unterscheidet sich jedoch zwischen den Bevölkerungen. In der vorliegenden Untersuchung wurde die Genetik der Gesamtleistenzahl bei der Telaganya-Brahmin-Bevölkerung von Andhra Pradesh in Indien im Detail untersucht und mit früheren Ergebnissen verglichen.

Les recherches menées dans de nombreuses populations sur la génétique du compte total de crétes digitales ont montré que ce trait est déterminé surtout par des gènes additifs. Cependant, la variance phénotypique diffère entre populations. Dans la présente étude, la génétique du compte total de crétes dans la population Brahmin Telaganya de l'Andhra Pradesh, en Inde, a été étudiée en détail et comparée aux résultats antérieurs. |
