Zusammenfassung:A kinetic model is developed for metal halide vapor lasers. Various laser operating conditions are analyzed. It is shown that on transition from pulse pair conditions to pulse train or regular pulse conditions, allowance must be made for cumulative effects. Numerical calculations are made for copper halides. It is shown that the conditions for laser action in these systems vary with the selected operating conditions.
