, we have made further observations on the blood clearance of free chloral under more or less identical experimental conditions. The data collected are rather interesting and appear to us to be worth recording, in as much as the results not only substantiate our previous conclusions drawn from urinary experiments, but also point the way to the development of a comparatively quicker and possibly more sensitive ‘blood test’ for gauging the detoxicating efficiency of the liver. |
