Most treatments applied 3 or 9 d before planting caused cotton injury and yield reduction. Replanting was necessary when 2,4-D at 2.2 kg ha-1was applied 9 d before planting, and all treatments except dicamba at 0.3 kg ha-1when applied 3 d before planting.
