Zusammenfassung:Rapid transmission of SAARS-CoV-2 demanded an efficient system for massive data stream which include biological, clinical and social types of data. This paper reviews Blockchain technology principles that suit it for data sharing of the current and pandemic and highlights the potential applications and opportunities in allying this form of data deposition and sharing for combating the reemergence of COVID-19 pandemic. Despite Blockchain robustness, it still has limitations which are discussed in this paper. Establishing decentralized system of data sharing for future pandemics using Blockchain technology provide an accessibility to every lab/hospital as participating block of the network. As a result, Blockchain can be homogenously used worldwide for storing and sharing medical records by giving global secure access to trusted data. By adopting the proposed global data sharing system, the challenges of federated learning with shortage of data and data heterogeneity issues are highly diminished.
