No evidence was obtained of an increase in the frequency of chromosomal structural aberrations at doses that allowed sufficient mitotic activity for cytogenetic evaluation. We conclude that TCDD is not a clastogen for mouse hepatocytes, although high doses cause marked hepatocellular necrosis. |
