Measurement and Analysis of the Fourier Transform Spectra of the ν3Fundamental and ν1+ ν3Combination of NpF6

The high resolution spectrum of NpF6complements existing work on UF6and PuF6. Unlike these molecules, NpF6has an unpaired spin, requiring a different mathematical formalism for analysis of the data than was used for the closed shell molecule UF6. Like UF6, NpF6exhibits rotational manifold structure. Scalar constants for the molecule and some examples of manifolds are presented here, and available constants are compared with those of UF6and PuF6.
