Ein zweikerniger Zinkkomplex mit einem Dithioacetal‐Brückenliganden

A Dinuclear Zinc Complex with a Bridging Dithioacetal Ligand The pyrazolyl‐bis(thioimidazolyl)borate ligand L1 of the complex [L1Zn‐OClO3] is partly decomposed upon attempts to replace the perchlorate ion by p‐nitrophenolate in a solution containing dichloromethane. As a result, two equivalents of the released mercaptoimidazole react with dichloromethane to form a dithioacetal. This in turn is bound via its two nitrogen donors to two L1˙Zn units forming the title complex, which was identified by a structure determination.
