Cover Feature: PbF[Br2F7], a Fluoridobromate(III) of a p‐Block Metal (Eur. J. Inorg. Chem. 1/2020)

The Cover Feature shows the synthesis of the title compound from the reaction of lead(II) fluoride with bromine trifluoride. The prepared fluoride was characterized by various methods such as single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Quantum chemical calculations show the distribution of electron density around each atom, which are assigned various colors in the picture. More information can be found in the Full Paper by F.
