The new title phases along with ettringite, Ca 6 [Al(OH) 6 ·12H 2 O] 2 (SO 4 ) 3 ·2H 2 O, and its known iron analogue are prepared from solutions of M 2 (SO 4 ) 3 (M: Al, Fe, Ga) or MSO 4 (M: Mn, Sn) and CaO mixed with a 10% aq.
