ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of Novel β-Lactam Fused Spiroisoxazolidine Chromanones and Tetralones as Potent Antimicrobial Agent for Human and Plant Pathogens

The synthesis of the novel β‐lactam fused spiroisoxazolidine tetralone and chromanone ring systems (III) is achieved by intermolecular 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition reaction of nitrone (I) with the unusual dipolarophiles (II).
