This is the first report of eremophilanes isolated from the liverwort genus Bazzania. Compounds 1 and 2 were evaluated for their repellent activity against an adult population of the rice weevil Sitophilus zeamais using a modified filter paper impregnation method. Both sesquiterpenoids exhibited moderate repellent activity, as reported by Ryosuke Fukada et al. in their research article at 10.1002/cbdv.202300131.
