Zusammenfassung: | On page 6693, S. Shiratori and co‐workers report a strategy for controllable liquid‐layer formation on smooth surfaces by π‐electron interactions. Superoleophilic wetting of decyltrimethoxysilane generates a surface with π‐interaction‐based liquid adsorption, smoothness, and hydrophobicity (SPLASH). It shows extraordinary hydrophobicity (contact angle hysteresis = 0.75°), stable transparency, and a high level of robustness against bending or mechanical damage. |
