Zusammenfassung:<正> Age determination of the Peking Man at Zhoukoudian （Choukoutien） has been made by fission track dating based on fission track annealing properties in minerals. The age of the Peking Man was derived from the number of tracks of 238U spontaneous fission in sphenes of grain size from 0.05 to 0.30 mm separated and selected from fire ashes left by the Peking Man.
