Recent Changes in China＇s National Conditions

I. China＇s basic national condition - that it is still in the primary stage of socialism - remains unchanged, yet new traits have emerged in China＇s econonaie and social development. China is a socialist country. Since reform and opening up, it has stayed the path, formed the theoretical frame- work, and improved the system of so- cialism with Chinese characteristics. Thus China has gained a preponder- ant approach, theory, and system for its further development.
