This paper improves inconsistency measure based on evidence theory and proposes a novel Dempster-Shafer ontology inconsistency measure method. The logical prop- erties of these measures are studied. The properties show how to look inside the formulae and how to indicate the contribution of each formula to the overall inconsistency in the ontology set. This approach would provide us with a stronger base of inconsistency handling.
