Tożsamość kulturowa współczesnych rolników

This paper looks at the issue of cultural identity of the farmers in Poland in the context of changing socio-economic situation in rural areas. The author claims that the farmers can be divided into two groups: modern farmers and post-traditional ones. The analysis shows that the main features of traditional identity such as attitude towards cultivated land and work ethics continue to be significant values for both groups of Polish farmers.
